PianoStream

Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026

PianoStream is operated by B&T Entertainment Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the PianoStream apps for iPhone, iPad and Android collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

1. Information we collect

Your account

When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name (if you share it), your email address (Apple may give us a private relay address instead), and identifiers for your account. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. You can use parts of PianoStream without an account.

Your membership

If you subscribe, we receive details of your subscription from the Apple App Store or Google Play (the plan, its status, and when it renews or ends) and verify them with Apple or Google so your membership works on all your devices. We never receive your payment card details; Apple and Google handle payment.

Your library

Songs you like, playlists you create and stations you save, so they appear on all your devices. A list of songs you've recently played is kept on your device to power "Jump back in".

My Music

MIDI files you choose to upload, with their names and basic details. They are private to your account. The app reads them on your device to draw their piano roll and run Piano Check. If you uploaded songs to User Stations in earlier versions of PianoStream, we have made a private copy of them in your My Music.

Support messages and song requests

What you send us, plus details that help us help you, such as your account ID, sign-in method, membership status, device model, operating system and app version.

App and diagnostic information

An anonymous count of app launches and technical information used to fix problems. This does not identify you.

Your piano and Bluetooth

The app connects to your piano or MIDI device over Bluetooth on your device. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or microphone.

2. How we use it

3. Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run PianoStream, under their own privacy and security obligations: Google Firebase (sign-in), Apple and Google (purchases), and our hosting providers in the United States, including Akamai/Linode and, for older versions of the app, VodaHost. We may disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information.

4. Where it's stored and how it's protected

Your information is stored on servers in the United States and sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is limited to people who need it to run PianoStream. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

5. Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time:

Deleting your account permanently removes your account, sign-in, liked songs, playlists, My Music files, and User Stations and uploads from earlier versions. Information on servers used by older versions of the app is removed within 7 days, and backup copies are deleted within 90 days. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and change your library in the app, sign out at any time, and ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing hayesiq@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we honor those requests.

7. Children

PianoStream is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
